Custom 3800 Series 2 engine swaps has been something we have been doing for a number of years. We have worked on our share of projects and enjoyed the challanges and obstacles that come with the territory. This engine has more than proven its great reliability, fuel economy, and power potential depending on application and has made it a great candidate to install in place of several other engines and the good news is there are plenty of them out there. We dont sell parts for these swaps, this work is all done at our shop and each job is often custom. While we havent advertised this type of work for the past few years we are getting back into it. Several people have asked if we will convert their front wheel drive car to a rear wheel drive car and the simple answer is NO, it just isnt going to happen. We also have several people ask if we will build them a custom wire harness to ship out or fabricate mounts and ship them and in general- no this is not something we do or have interest in. We require to have the vehicle to perform the engine swap whatever option it may be. There are simply too many variations from car to car and most people want something done their own way which is completely understandable and because of this it is near impossible to make a one-fits-all part unless it is something common that we repetitively get asked about and see a damand to produce duplicates. The 3800 Series 2 engine is what we have been working with specifically and for the most part will continue to stay that way. Sure there are plenty of other engines and combination out there that will work fine as well and there are other companies out there who can help with those. Being "Custom" there is no set price or time frame for the work as every application is going to be different though we do have a good idea of what select vehicles will require.
